Ah.
Okay, so I know it has been forever since I posted anything, but the end of the year is winding down so I have been really really busy.
Updates:
Swanson-Heading to Connecticut for a exclusive intership he got interviewed for. Only allow 26 in the nation. He will be there all summer. He has a friend from Spain that lives about 45minutes away from where he is staying so that's good for him. Got accepted into the Business Grad Program at IU. Will start that in January...which means he graduates in December. He is very excited that I'm 21 now.
Zach-Heading out to Wyoming for 8-9 weeks for Anthropology grad credits. Getting ready to finish his finals next Thursday. Is going pretty well in his graduate course. Is looking into taking his test to get into a graduate program, but doesn't know where to start. He has been watching "the world is ending" crap (2012) and isn't sure if "it's worth it" I'm almost sure he's kidding. ;)
Me-Stuck in Bloomington all summer. I am going to take one class a session so that I only have to finish my acedemic career with 14 credits =) First session is teaching students with special needs and second is cryptography. I am wokring (hopefully) full time in the Bakery again. Good news on that. In about a week I am going to get ALL the money they screwed me out of since September AND a raise. I finished up observing with two teacher at Bachelor Middle School in Bloomington this past week. Now I just have tons of projects to get through. My last class will be in December before I come back to student teach in 2010. My last day will be April 5th 2010! Less than a year! I am beyond excited!
I did get some great news this semester: I am still invited into International Scholar Laureate Program, Nation Dean's List, and I got nominated for be part of Madison's Who's Who again, AND a few weeks ago I got a letter from Cambridge's Who's Who to be a part of that. So...I guess I can't say that working hard doesn't pay off.
I cannot believe this year is over! It has been amazing! I have meet some of the greatest people that I know I will stay close with for the rest of my life. A lot of us are staying over the summer to cram in some last minute classes, Amy is here for diving. It shouldnt be that bad.
Little 500 was a lot of fun! It was the first time I got to do the bar scene, so that was different and expensive. We saw amazing bands, met some great people, and made some great memories. I almost feel like I'm not ready to leave yet.
Well I would love to talk about how great Gossip Girl is, and how fantastic Heroes was, or why the past episode of LOST and The Office are the reason's I pick TV over sleep, but tonight, I pick sleep!
I love you all very much! I promise to keep in better touch this summer! I am going to post my e-portfolio soon so if you have any feedback on that, that would be awesome! The real-world is coming full force pretty soon!
Also, my roomate for next year, Whitney, has a bf that is looking for a job. If anyone knows somewhere that needs a high school English teacher...let me know? Thank you! I love yoU!
