Daddy found it very amusing that I said that I planned on sleeping my face off when I was on break. I was not exaggerating. The first day home I slept until 2:30pm. I was not kidding around. This semester, thank God, has finally come to a close. I have never worked so hard in my life. Things have slowly started to pay off though.
Everyone is home for the holidays. I think this made Mommy and Daddy very happy. We had a family portrait taken for the church this weekend. Michael and Jon made some really werid faces. I don't think that the Lifetouch lady (or Dad) found it very amusing. We were the only family laughing hysterically, though. Nothing out of the ordinary.

The Orozcos together in front of our real Christmas tree. We all love each other so much. I cannot express how much I love being home. I laugh harder with my family than I do anywhere else. <3

I organized a bar crawl for all our friends in the Math Block at IU. It was great. I made the t-shirts, and everyone seemed to like them. It was an amazing night. I had so much fun with everyone. Bloomington will never have another block like us! We decided that we are the most fun! =) Because we are. The back of the shirts have a Pi symbol on them with all of our names inside of it. We never get tired of math jokes. I am going to miss these people so much! I've spent the last three years getting to know everyone. I've spent more time with these amazing people this year than I did at my own apartment.

Danielle came and visited during the week of the Purdue v. IU game. Heath also came down. Unfortunately, IU lost to Purdue. Bad. Oye. Maybe next year.

The family came down to come the ceremony! I always love seeing them.

We had to go to a Math/Teacher Conference in Indianapolis. Sound boring? Because it was. Didn't learn too much. We went to the minimum of two sessions, then we walked around Indy for the day, ate at Hooters, watched football, went to another bar to finish the Bears game. THAT part was fun!

Basically, that is what is new with me. I hope to hear updates from everyone soon. I think that I will be able to post more next semester when I'm student teaching, but no promises. I start on Jan. 4th. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Miss Orozco. Weird. I can't wait to finally get to it. I am just glad to never have to take another college math class again. That got old really quick. 42 credits is just way too much Math. I am bunt out, but now I feel like I know all there is to know about Math.

Today Meg and I are spending the day together, baking and such. Swanson graduated on Saturday so I am going to go celebrate with him on Wednesday in Broadripple. How exciting. He starts his Business Masters Program in January at IU.

Zach is now certified in scuba and is excited to narrow his field in grad school. He loves his bio anthro degree! What he did in Wyoming is too boring for him though. He wants something more adventurous, like underwater anthopology. He is looking into apply for a grad program.

Hmm..I am not sure there is much more news. I miss Jenna and Katrina. I am too used to seeing them everyday. Jenna is home in New Jersey and Katrina in Illinois. I hope that we can see them every now and then next semester. I think that we are all just ready to be done

Signed up for my licensing exam! November! Getting ready to become a real life teacher! Awesome!
School is not slowing down. Lots of exams and lesson plans and math math math! Oye. I cannot wait to do actual math again one day. I am so over Theorems and Proofs. Kill me.
I still don't know what I am doing for Halloween. It falls on a Saturday so I am going to have to work.
I am going to a recognition ceremony for getting into the School of Education at IU. I get a plaque and certificate. Yay
In April I am presenting a paper I wrote last semester to a board of award-winning teachers and professors. I am nervous about that, but it will be great on a resume
I started observing at a high school about an hour away from Bloomington. It's awesome to see the differences between high school and middle school. It is making me think about where I want to teach.
January 3rd I start student teaching. Nervous, but very excited to not have anymore classes for college. My friend reminded me today that it was our last midterms of college next week. Sad and exciting!
Nelly is in town this weekend! Very cool! It is also our homecoming!!! My last homecoming as an undergrad! Crazy! I wish everyting would slow down so that I could enjoy everything some more!
I went and saw Daniel Tosh in Indy Saturday! AMAZING! Funniest comedian I have ever seen! It was a great time!
Now I have to work on some work before I go to work! I also have to catch up on some shows this week! Is anyone going to see Michael Jackson's movie tribute "This is it"? I really want to! It looks crazy good!

All the pictures uploaded backwards....So I am going to write about everything starting at the Bottom of the post.... And these are the Jonas Brothers!!!!!!! I look just as excited as Megan! This picture makes me laugh really hard! After our adventure there Ben and I thought it was best to catch the second to last train that left Grand Central instead of aiming for the last one...just in case. It left at 1:12...Swanson did not make it to that one. Luckily his friends set an alarm and made sure he caught the last one so he wasnt far behind us! And that concluded our NYC trip. We saw so many more things and I completely regret not taking enough pictures! It was completely amazing. I did, however, make a bad shoe choice and I paid for it the next three days when I could barely walk. I had so much fun! I will have to share more to-and-from stories when I see you next! Don't forget to ask me about it!

At Planet Hollywood we were sitting have a having a drink and just looking around at how awesome NYC is and how happy we were to be there when Ben said something about a "prop" hanging from the ceiling. He said it was one of the Dorthys from Twister. I was like "oh ok cool" and then we were walking around the resturant and noticed one of the hundreds of glass case displays had the outfits from Titantic. I was like, "wouldnt that be crazy if Leo and Rachel totally wore those in the movie?" I got a blank stare and then a "uh..they did" Ben calmly explained that everything there was from the movies. All the guns were from the movies, all the costumes, all the props. I know you probably saw it coming, but I FREAKED out! I started flying through Planet Hollywood until I saw what I remembered seeing when we walked in. The Twilight prom dress and tux! Robert Pattison wore that! I made Ben come with me on all the floors so we could see everything. They were real things from the actual movie. I wanted to know how everyone eating wasnt freaking out too! Maybe they didnt know either. Then we found hand prints of famous people and had to take turns putting out hands in them. This is Clint Eastwood!

I think Ben really liked Times Square too!

I did a really bad taking pictures the rest of the day, but after Central Park we took a subway and met up with Julie, one of Kareem and Swanson's friends from Spain who was there on an internship. We went to a little hole in the wall to eat dinner (Cosmic Cantina) and they caught up for a bit. Then we went back to her place, which was the NYU dorms, which was pretty cool. We were there for a while talking with them. They were planning on going to a birthday party at a bar, but I kind of wanted to go see Times Square at Night (I might only get to see it once and bars are everywhere) so Ben and I took a cab to Times Square and it was totally worth it!!! One of the most amazing things I have ever seen in my life! It was mind blowing and surreal and breath-taking! We walked around for a while and then went to the Hard Rock Cafe and then Planet Hollywood!

This is just funny to Ben and I, but I think my brothers will get it. Ben said the sign said, "Please, don't make it rain" I laughed about it the whole rest of the day!

There are a lot of free concerts and events in Central Park. We stumbled onto a poetry slam and art contest! This was really cool to see. The artists started with a blank canvas and while poets did crazy interpretive dances and choreography they painted whatever they wanted. We didnt stay until the end, but it was amazing to hear all the stories and see paintings start from the begining. It was also the first time I had seen peeople snap rather than applause.

We made our way to Central Park, which is every bit of amazing as they make it out to be. Even in the rain it was beautiful. Also....they have a zoo in there. Which is awesome! It was a little weird to see more than one couple trying to pet a squirrel. Maybe they dont have a lot of them in NY? I am not sure what the deal was with that. Kareem said that we should leave before dark because thats when he bums come out. So we did

We couldnt pass up FAO Shwarts! That toy story is insane! I have a story about Swanson and a hacky sack that can only be told through demonstration, but it is so funny! The store was enormous! We went through all of it...it took an hour or so! But this was the coolest part! BIG piano! I thought we would get in trouble if we played on it, but those kids had it under control!

I was so excited to see all the cabs in the city! We really really really wanted to find the Cash Cab (like the game show) so every time we saw a van cab we tried to flag it down. I know that we never found it. Mostly because I am out of money opposed to leaving with some.

Rockefeller Center in NYC! This was so cool to go see. I really want to go back in the winter when they have the Christmas tree up! Every landmark that we saw we could remember seeing it in a movie, which is awesome! I watch 30 Rock, so this and the NBC building, Radio City, were kind of a big deal!

St. Patrick's Cathedral! this was awesome, it was a kind of weird because we were allowed to go inside and it was very touristy. I felt a little uncomfortable doing that. The inside was beautiful, but I didnt take pictures.

Everything inNYC was bigger and better! I loved looking at all the the signs and billboards! 5th Ave was amazing too! There were so many places to shop! Kareem said there were celebrities all the time there, but we didn't see any (sad face)

Swanson in Times Square. We went to a place called Ray's Pizza. They had the biggest pizza slices I have ever seen in my life. They were great, but I couldnt even eat a whole one! And I love pizza!

Times Square, which Swanson pointed out is not really a square, but a rectangle. Good point! There were thousands of things to do! Unfortunately, we went to find something to take home with us, but assumed we would go back later to get them...and never did =(

Grand Central Station. I didnt take enough pictures to show how flipping awesome it was! We needed to go get return tickets before we went anywhere, so we did that right away!

Swanson was Chipotle deprived all summer, so we wanted to find a Chipotle. Kareem had never had it before (what!?) but we throught since we were in NY we needed to do NY things...like giant pizza slices!

The train ride took about an hour and a half. We made the bad decision to sit in backwards seats, and I easily get motion sickness. We made an executive decision to not do this on the way home

The boys at the train station! Kareem was our tour guide for NYC. He lives in CT so he makes it to the city about once a month. Swanson got a new haircut, which is very nice! New haircut-new attitude (haha) and Ben, who was very excited to see NYC for the first time, too!

After Ben and I drove through Manhattan..during rush hour at 6:30am, we made it to CT to stay with Swanson. After Swanson took us to dinner and introduced us to some of his friends from work we went back to his place and passed out. We woke up around 7am to drive about an hour to New Haven, CT, to check into a hotel and meet Swanson's friend from Spain, Kareem. Kareem drove us to a train station to catch a train to go to Grand Central in NYC. (!!)

so....I am so bad at keeping up with his blog this year! I have been soo busy!

Well what's been knew?

Karen's friend Juan bought us a sweet christmas tree. We were so excited about a live tree that we went and bought Christmas decorations at Marsh hahaa. The next dayI wento the dollar store and bought more decorations because I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

I have been spending a lot of time with my friends (mostly studying, but for some reason it doesnt seem like torture) We meet about twice a week for about 3 hours at a time before we sort of give up, but its mostly because Amy is hilarious, Whitney and I gossip, Val and Matt fight (jk...) and Tim is just fun. Yeah...I have my math friends and they are the best!

I had my last day of work today before going home to work in westfield. Then I come back here to work next year! Next semester is going to be AMAZING! Swanson gets back and Karen starts school, we start blocks.....next semester is going to be great! I just cant wait to get there. This week and next are full of finals. Whitney is on her way over to study for an exam we have at 8am!!!! At least its the last day for it though!

I have been Christmas shoping in my spare time. I love it! I can't wait for Christmas! Jenny Tassle (reminder: she is the 3rd lost girl) is coming down again this weekend!! I am so excited!!! I want to go ice skating! and play cranium!! PS last christmas i got Cranium! and its the best game EVER!!! we played two games last weekend and I threw out my voice....not from yelling! From laughing! my throat is still sore!

I have been freaking out about my finals but we have been reassured in the math class I am worried about, that none of us will have to take it again....so basically we all pass with a C+ or higher! Thats another thing! Only in College does a C-mean failing!

What else is new? Oh! Allison and Eric got engaged! Congratulations to them! =)

Swanson is looking forward to coming back to "the States" and reuniting at Chipotle with Zach and I haha.

Karen got a new job shaping eyebrows at the mall haha shes pretty exhausted because now shes working both jobs. =(

I'd like to go to a Christmas concert by Straight No Chaser to see Jesse, but I don't think I'll make it.

Yeah, everythign is pretty good. I guess my room is a mess, but thats ok =)

I hope everyone is as excited about Christmas as they should be! Its cold, but its awesome!

Family Visits!!

The family came to tailgate on Saturday!!! I loved seeing everyone. I didnt' get pictures from my house, but everyone came and we had TONS of food. We grilled, ate, cooked, ate, make hot chocolate, ate. It was great! We saw IU lose =(
Then we went for walk around campus where Zach showed us the cool buildings. He's like a little kid. "Do you want to see the skeletons?" Then we came back and watched the SNL Presidental Bash before getting some Subway. It was great!!
I am already so homesick again. I can't wait for this horrible stressful semester to be over so I can go home and take a flipping break!

I have to go to class later now. =( The rain makes motivation drop off the edge of the earth.

Amazing!!! Obama is the 44th President!!!

I am so glad that I got to be part of this!! Indiana became a blue state! Obama won! and John McCain ended up being pretty classy in the end!
Zach and I stayed up all night watching the results and then stayed up later dancing and celebrating. He almost convienced me to drive to Chicago to celebrate with everyone there! We didn't.

I am so happy! I wrote Swanson as soon as they announced it! I don't know how much they will cover it there. Did everyone see Obama's speech? Perfection. I know it was going be one of those speeches like "I have a dream" If you didn't see it I will post it. I literally started crying! Everything is going to get better!

Indiana, by 1% became a blue state for the first time since 1964. Now that is having your vote count! YES WE CAN. Ahh I'm so excited!!

Halloween and more

The weekend was great. I didn't do any homework, but I know that will come bite me, but I felt like I deserved a weekend free from obligations (besides work) and it was worth it! Zach and I got out costumes and went to a dance party with Ricky and some of his friends. After Karen got off work she met us there for a while. Saturday I had to work 8 hours but then I got to come home to Jenny! She came down to help celebrate Karen's birthday! We had a lot of fun.

I voted early today!
It was exciting! And a lot easier than I thought. The line was short (we only waited like 2 hours).
I had an...interesting experience waiting in line. There was a man a few year older than me standing in front of me. Another older man was pacing back and forth through the line repeating the same three phrases over and over. "Keep America Free. Vote McCain" After about 45 minutes the man in front of me stops the man and starts to talk with him. (Note: Democrat v. Republican) So....it was interesting to listen to. Although the Democrat knew what he was talking about up and down and wasn't afraid to correct Republican. Democrat, come to find out, lived in DC for a while and spent a year working for Homeland Security. He was very smart. Now, Republican either was flustered after the questions and corrections or was just crazy. Democrat asked how McCain was going to keep American free and was given a blank stare and then Republican started going on about how Democrats messed up something with the war blah blah blah and named off Presidents and then was corrected and informed of a realistic timeline.
Democrat was obviously on some sort of debate team because he would use phrases such as "and where, may i ask, did you get this information, what source" "i don't find that to be a reliable source" Republican started feeling the loss and looked me dead in the face and like a two year old child yelled, "Is this your girlfriend?" Holds up two fingers and squints as if to measure my head and yells "I bet she looks real good in a [what muslims wear]"
And then he walks away. He was a crazy man who apparently was carrying a gun and we were told not to rowdy him. Yikes! Voting was fun and easy though! I'm glad I did it today and not on the 4th. I can't imagine what the lines will be like then!
Tonight Zach and I are going out as Hippies! Karen's birthday was yesterday and we decorated the house and I made her a cake. I think it was a good day! I am excited to go out tonight even though I have to be home by like 11 because I have to work in the morning. They are also telling me that the weeks I want to go home for winter break are a problem....ha! Yeah, maybe for you. For me there is no problem. I will not be in Bloomington.....I don't see another option. Apparently they do; "Would you be willling to drive down a few days a week to work" "No." "....okay...." haha DuH!
Tomorrow our friend Jenny is coming down (the other lost girl!) I am very excited! OH!! And Sal and Katy are engaged!!! She got back from Mexico last night!!!! YaY!!!

We also walked through this dog's poop right when we got in line. So did about 4 other people .Thanks pup!

Well today was most definitely hump day! I just can't wait to be over with today! Monday I had a law midterm (I think I did great) Then Tuesday was 8am work then 6-8 class. THEN I had to study for a midterm for today until 10pm. THEN!!! I had my student teaching application due today that I had been working on for two weeks!
Can I just tell you how AmAzInG Zach is? I came home from work and needed to fly in and out of the house before class....BUT I needed to make four copies of my transcript at kinkos (which I still needed to pick up at Franklin Hall), find the specific manilla folder they wanted, make a custom printed label for the dumb folder, and have it done before the night ended so I can turn it in in the morning. Zach did all of it for me while I went to class and studied! OMG! Who is that amazing?? AND! AND! He's making me dinner tonight because "he knows that I'm stressed out".....WHAT!?!?! I would fall apart this year if it wasn't for him! I can't even say how luck I am! (Thank you Zach)

I got up nice and early after finishing up the application at 2am. I was "one of those people" as I ran to catch the bus before my first class (which is so sad if you knew how close I was to the bus stop)
I took my midterm in T336 (uh...we'll see) It was either gREAT or horrible. She told us that she was going to curve it. I went to lunch with Amy, Whittney, Val, and Matt afterwards. Matt made a rule that we couldn't talk about school once we steped off campus...AGREED

Now I am home doing homework for my next class (law). Then I am going to finish a lab....then home to sleep before going to work at 7am! (note: this is why I am never writing =(
I have one more midterm to study for, but after that I am going home on Friday!!!! I can't wait!!

Good news: Swanson is having a great time in Spain. I get emails about once a week. Zach and I miss him a lot. Um...have you been watching Heroes?? SO GOOD! Gossip Girl is great too! What else? Since I have been working I've been able to go out with Karen to get dinner a few times so that is good! Her b-day is next week and I am going to make her a sweet cake! I saw a fox when I was driving through campus to go to work the other day! It was beautiful. Holloween is next week! I am going home this weekend YAY!!!

We had friends come over the weekend because they were on Fall Break.
Unfortunately, I had to work at 7 in the morning so I was pretty lame and just went to bed way early!

I also have to be at work at 7 Tomorrow, Thrusday, AND Saturday....yay
I did, though, get into the school of ed! That is really good news. I have to put in my application for student teaching very soon though. (next week) So it's one stress after another.

I think since today is kind of slow, I am going to try to get a new cell phone before class. We'll see.

I use "dollar-store-tastic" to describe my art work here. The backboard only cost $12. I used black and white pictures from magazines and framed them in black, brown, and white frames. My nightstand is something blue because I heard that it is calming.

I hope that everyone's weekend goes well. I took my test. ... Uh, we'll see. We think that everyone did the same amount of bad. I came home and slept for a much needed three hours. I am probably going to to back to bed here in a while. Zach went golfing with a friend today. I am hoping that when he gets back we can watch the VP debate...Sarah Palin is..amusing.

I have been home only to sleep. I am constantly at school, work, and the library (three out of 5 days). I am becoming exhausted!
The deadline for the TEP applications was yesterday. I am waiting on a response, but I am almost positive I am going to get in. I've worked really hard the past three years...so...I better get in lol

I had a test on Friday and did pretty well on it, and this week we have a test in T403 that everyone is freaking out about. I called into work today because I wanted to spend the day studying. Which I have. Non-stop. I am going to Wells to finish homework for two different math classes before I meet with another study group to continue to study for 403. I can't wait until Friday is over. I have to work early Saturday again so I might just go home and sleep until Saturday. I am getting sick on top of everything else. But nothing compared to Karen and Zach. They have been really sick, with a fever and everything. =(

I have been meaning to put up pictures. I think I will dedicate Friday to that. I want you to see my apartment. It is very cute. It needs cleaned again, but other than that, it is very bright and cheery.

Zach bought us tickets to go see Sweeny Todd this past Tuesday! It was amazing! I was reading and they won 8 tonys!! Thats amazing! We got really good seats, too. Zach had us siting on the floor, row 11! It was one of the coolest things I've done at IU so far. Hairspray is going to be here for one day only. I am going to look at buying season tickets next year. Karen's brother said he did that and he likes going to all of them. Sweeny Todd, though, was a great musical. I'm sure that the movie is not as good as the Broadway, but I want to see the movie now.

Well...I am trying to take one day a week just to do something fun. That was my fun this week. I know that I complain a lot, but there is a lot of good that comes with school. Since now I am in most of the math classes no one in their right mind would take unless forced, I am meeting a lot of other math secondary teaching majors. It makes IU seem a little smaller. I meet with study groups Wednesday and Thursday, so we are all getting to be pretty close. Soon, best friends I'm sure. We will probably all be in every class together. Last night four of us, after spending three hours on geo homework, got really slap happy and were pretty sure that we would be kicked out of the library.

I am excited to be able to see the same faces everyday. We can all go through hell together, making a little bit less scary since we are all convinced we are going to die. Death by math! Only another year or so.....

I will post pictures on Friday. I will also keep you posted as to if I get into the school of ed! Keep your fingers crossed! I have to go to the library now.

School Stings

Sorry it's been forever.

I have been really busy! School started with a Bang! It feels like I have been here for months! So much work. I've already had quizes and enough homework to scream! My math classes are really intense! All three are very theoretical (and involve proving) which I know I am 97% bad at! Why? Why do I need to prove a+(-a)=0? Why can't I just say, "Because it does"? Anyway
I am also taking a couple education classes, one of which is paired with a 500 level law class...yay...

I transfered to the Kroger down here, too. I work between 15 and 20 hours a week and so far they have been really good about letting me work when I need to.

Zach is volunteering with museums to juice up his resume. Swanson left for Spain, which is so sad. We miss his so much. 4+ years and now I go everyday without him :sigh: I miss him. I got to talk to him a few times online, and then he called from a payphone. The 6 hour differences doesn't make it too hard to catch us when we are awake.

Karen got a full time job as a bartender! Which is very cool! Daniel is still working through the fall as an umpire. Zach is getting to know the world-famous bars around Bloomington. He's only been to the bluebird so far, but he really like the live band. He has a few friends he can go with so that's good! I am excited because we looked it up and I turn 21 the week before Little 500!!!!! Which means I will be able to attend all those events!!!

Well I know its late, so I will get going! Sorry about the gross background...we'll have to change that soon!

OH! The whole reason for the title. RANDOM!! I have not been stung by a bee since I drank snapple ice tea in Denver when I was like 4 or 5 (yeah, it was that traumatizing! I even remember what I was wearing!) Well today....I got stung by a bee! I remember why I started crying back then! Holy-moly! That little B-word stung the bazeezus out of my thumb! it still tingles, but I just thought that was so random! I told Zach that out of all the possible things that could have happened on the way to the bus, Bee sting was right up there with blizzard! I'm just kidding.

Well, Bill Cosby will be here on Friday. Gas went up to $4.15 and I have to work tomorrow!

Wow. I am really slacking on my blog-posts.
There is so much to catch up on! Well, last time I wrote about camping. I am ready to talk about it now! Haha. Yes, it’s finally funny!
Even funnier in person! Just remember to ask. 
I sprained my back at work. I finished working for Kroger at the beginning of the month. I moved in the small stuff August first and thought it would be productive to stay here permanently….it was not. No one was here yet and I finished unpacking and decorating in about two day.
So I went home for a few days with the family! I am so lucky t have a family that I can’t wait to see! They are always so much fun! Everyone started school again. David is in cross country and has a girlfriend (as of summer, not randomly on the first day to school). Jon started high school (which is so crazy!) and is team captain of the football team. Megan is in 6th grade!!! I love going home to talk to her about the Jonas Brothers! She is in love and keeping me addicted to the band too! Their new CD just came out and it is amazing! My new favorite song ever is called Love Bug. Mommy and Daddy are both working extremely hard. I don’t know how they do it! They are amazing! And always so funny! I get really homesick when I come to Bloomington.
Zach came to Bloomington to fix some stuff in his house before school. He left Saturday back for Westfield, but he’ll be back Wednesday for good. Karen is coming back the 30th. She is working with her mama right now at home, but I seriously cannot wait for her to get back!
I just decorated the wall behind my bed and it is….well, it’s pretty awesome! I will add pics when I get the internet up and running (I’m writing on Word until then) Actually, I have to tell you. Our apartment is pretty amazing. I advise that everyone come visit us to come see it. We don’t mess around =)
I start classes soon…boo. I ordered most of my books, have a cute bag Mommy got me to carry them in, and notebooks. I’m set. Now, where can I find some motivation? Hmmm. Maybe Amazon sells that too.
Oh, I finished a book! I have only finished one other book my entire life (no joke!) But I like reading again! No thanks to a second-grade teacher. But its titled The Pelican Brief. Very good. I really want to start reading now. Too bad textbooks are no help.
Speaking of that! Three math classes, an education law class, an education class on how to teach math, and one I can’t remember =/. BUT NO THURSDAY CLASSES….I know, how did I do it? It’s a gift =) just kidding.
Megan-before I forget! Guess what I found out!? You are not going to like it, but….Joe Jonas….is rumored…to be dating…….. ….. …(LOOK AWAY)… Taylor Swift! WHAT!? I know! She has been seen a two separate concerts backstage. But on a happier note, He graduated high school and they had a ceremony for him at one of their concerts. (All learned by Perez)
Well….I wish I had more interesting stories, but not too much has happened yet. I am actually very excited to go back to school to see some friends I haven’t seen all summer! I do have Zach’s three seasons of The Office. I’m finishing three. Season 5 starts on the 25 next month! Also, Gossip Girl (Sep 1) Heroes (Sep 22) Yeah! I’m ready!

Last night was the Jonas Brothers CONCERT!! OK...so the day only got better as it went on!
Mommy took megan, her friend amber, myself, david, and david's girlfriend aubrey. We still had the four lawn-seat tickets before picking up the ones megan and I won. So the total is six people, four tickets (until later). We get to Verizon early to stand in the will call line to get the tickets that we won in the contest.
When we got close to the counter, a family was freaking out because the teller told them they didn't have their meet and greet passes. After they moved aside I handed her my ID and she went to look for the tickets. She looked...and looked..and looked. After lists and evelopes and boxes she looked at me and told me there was nothing there under that name. Now, normally (since we already had tickets) I would just be bummed and walk away....but we had four lawn seats for six people. =( OH----NO!

I remember having the woman from CW on my call list. When I tried calling her her mailbox was full and unable to reach. Mom and I start thinking that maybe David can take his girlfriend and megan and amber to the seats while we wait for the concert to be over. Then mom starts pointing at the glass window that the teller is at. She has an envelope pressed against the glass with "Ana Orozco" written on it! BAM! I swung infront of the line signed for the tickets. She told me it was filed under "T" instead of "O". Hey! You have them! That's all I care about.

I noticed that the tickets looked a lot different than the ones we already had. "Section B? Where the flip is that?" I'll tell you where!!!!!

SIX ROWS AWAY FROM THE STAGE!!!! IN THE AIR CONDITIONED PAVILLION!!!! SIX ROWS AWAY FROM THE STAGE!!! SIX!!! FROM THE STAGE!!!

OMG! Best concert!! EVER. Here are some pictures. Megan and Amber signed their tour bus. We got sprayed with foam! Yeah! We were that close! The boys sprayed it with JB hoses! AWESOME!
When they would walk out on stage they would wave to everyone! Megan was making the "I love you" sign in sign language. JOE (her love) saw it and did it back to her! AHHHH

I sprained my back at work last Saturday and have been taking muscle relaxers three times a day. Needless to say, I get pretty weird if I try to fight and stay awake. i threw sprinkles at jon the other day because I guess I really wanted to try them. =/
I have been off work all week trying to get better so I can get back to work next week. Then I move into my new apartment! Yeah!!

As you know, we already had four tickets to go see the sold-out concert of the Jonas Brothers this coming Wednesday!
Well....MEGAN AND I WON FOUR MORE!!!
We entered a contest to meet the Jonas Brothers after the concert and WON!!!!
I will take a thousand pictures! No worries there! Just wanted to share some great news.
Yesterday Megan and I took four hours taking down her posters and puting them all back on the wall closer and more organized to fit more on! There is now 130+ pictures of Joe Jonas and the band! Whoa! That is only on her side, too. I'm sure when I go back to school I will come back to find my walls covered! =)
Summer is almost over.

It's been a looooong time! Mike's graduation was the last thing on here? Whoa! So much has happened! Well, hold on to your seat!
June was fun! Summer was finally here and we got to see some sun! I started working back at Kroger Bakery again. I know, right? You're dying to hear more! Actually, it's not too bad. Danielle isn't working there this summer so that makes it a little less fun. New people, new tricks. Not too bad. I did get hired as the cake decorator, though. So...bitter-sweet.

Jon started football, David-cross country, Megan got her brace off. Good stuff.

:GASP!: have I talked about LOST yet? I can't say too much because there might be people who are waiting to get back to the states to see it! BUT O-M-G! Best finale ever!

In other TV news: Heroes starts on Sep. 22 and Gossip Girl Sep 1!! If anyone is crazy obsessed!

Karen and I are so excited to move into out new place! Can't wait. We are going shoping for decorations the day after we move in! YAY!

July is here! Grandma and Grandpa had a lavish party with the finest of guests! We (the grandchildren) were told all day that we were so lucky to have such great people as out grandparents. We would have to agree!

The fourth of july was spent at the Indian's game! We were so happy to do it again this year. It is always so fun! Although (side/funny story) *ZACH WAS THE BOOKEND ON ONE SIDE OF THE FAMILY, SITTING NEXT TO A hillbilly MAN AND A BABY. ZACH NOTICED THAT THE BABY WOULD WATCH HIM, SO HE WOULD LOOK BACK AND FOURTH AT THE BABY. THE MAN NOTICED AND STARTED ALSO PLAYING WITH THE BABY who is still looking at zach. THEN THE MAN LOOKS AT ZACH AND WITH A COMPLETELY EMOTIONLESS AND SERIOUS TONE ASKS, "DO YOU LOOK BABIES IN THE EYE?" "uH.....WHEN THEY LOOOK AT ME I GUESS." "yEAH...ME TOO"
WHAT? hahaha! What kind of question is that? "Do you look babies in the eye?" Who says that? Weird.

Mommy is taking Megan and I and a friend to the JONAS BROTHERS CONCERT! Ahhhhhhh!!! I am obsessed with them too!! I tell everyone it's because Megan has our room covered with Joe Jonas! She has good taste, so I guess I can't complain. ;)

Zach turned 21 last week. That was exciting. I am taking him camping next weekend in brown county! I am so SO excited! Karen and Daniel will be coming with us so it should be really really fun!

I'm thinking about changing my background.....hmm...but to what?

Memorial Day Weekend

Well this weekend was great! We took a little early summer vaca with the fam to Kentucky! You have my permission on read the following with an accent:

We drove on down to Kentucky on Saturday morning and went straight to Six Flags. We got there almost as soon as it opened, so lines and crowds were at a minimum. We went straight to the water park and first went on a brand new ride called Mega Wedgie....welcome to Kentucky. Megan and I sat in a two person intertube that shot down into a giant bowl where we circled arounf a few times before being plunged into a waterfall. David and Jon stood in line behind us. When workers tryed to get kids pumped up about going on the ride asking, "What are you here to do" Jon and I would yell, "LOOK DEATH IN THE EYE" We thought we were the funniest people.

Mom and I went on a ride that sound be called I HOPE THESE BRIGHT AND WHIMSICAL COLORS DON'T FOOL YOU BECAUSE WE WILL MAKE YOU PEE. You sit in the two person intertube with nothing holding you (they do have straps that you are advised to not let go....no matter what) remember those hot wheels loops that in order to get the car to gather enough momentum to make it around and around they used those fast spinning wheels that grab the sides of the car and shoot it through the loops? Well that is how this ride worked! This intertube is flying down this twisting water slide before droping at a sharp angle (like a roller coaster) then hot-wheeling it up a slope and then droping once again. The problem...we were going way too fast and instead of sliding down this slopes we would fly off of them and drop and then get drug up the hill...over and over again. I got off the ride and was shaking! It was awesome!

We stayed in the water park for a couple hours before going to the amusement park to ride the other rides. Megan rode some of the big rides too. Her favorite was the rainbow. I think that was all our favorite. Megan put her hands up and everything! Screamed like not even I have screamed. When I looked at her face it looked like someone was ripping her toenails off! It was histarical! We got to ride a couple roller coasters, but not the biggest one. The Chang was the main attraction, but for an hour the line didn't move. We finally figured out that those with the "Flash Pass" were gettting to ride the ride over and over again before anyone else got to. That pass really sucked. We still had a really great time though.

At the hotel we took warm showers and ordered room service and watched 10 minutes of TV before falling asleep. The next morning we woke up and went to church at the Cathedral downtown! It was beautiful! There were thousands and thousands of stars covering the arched ceilings. They were made out of 24-k gold! And their were paintings from a pope. It was beautiful!

It was Mommy and Daddy's Anniversary. We all went on a steam boat for the afternoon. It was really neat to get to sit in the sun with everyone while we went up the river and back. For dinner we went to the Old Spagetti Factory. Perfection!
Dave and I ran on the tredmills for a while before going back to the room to eat some snacks! What a perfect weekend.

We saw a lot of (Kentucky) people and (Kentucky) things, but some stories are better in person.

I got my job back at Kroger and start tomorrow. I am just glad to have a job again. I hated not working. It stresssed me out.

Busy weekend

It was a bitter-sweet weekend!

David got confirmed! I was able to be his sponser! It was a really great thing! We are so proud of him!

We have a lot of friends leaving for the summer! Matt left for China Friday, Casey and Kyle are on their way to Nicargua, and it won't be long before people start to travel abroad for the semester. =(

I am still looking for daycare jobs. It was nice to have a little break this summer though.

I had Daddy come Friday to help move a few things home. I thought the rest of everything woulf fit in my car. I did a great job packing it, "if I was going to tow it" said daddy. He came down Saturday to help take the rest home.

I came back Saturday to go to David's award ceremony! It was great.
His Confirmation is on Friday. I am excited that he asked me to be his sponser! We will have a good time.

I got to see Zach a little tonight. I feel like I havnt seen him in years. I spend two entire days at the library (including sleep) and then i went home. On May 1st Zach and I had been together for three years ♥ yay!

well I wish I had more fun stories, but the whole week was just spent in the library! LOVE YOU

Final Weekend

The weekend was full, which is good! I stayed busy! It is the last weekend of Sophomore year...wow. Scary a little.
I started to pack my room a little...and by little, I mean not really. I can't just 'sort-of' pack it. :sigh: It's crazy! This year whizzed by! I remember getting ready for Halloween like it was last night....moving in seemed like it was only a month ago. Weird.

Friday, I went to class and left to go and attend Pizza Mania with Amy and Mark (from my class). $7 for all you can eat pizza all day from all the pizza places in Bloomington! Pretty sweet if you ask me...but I was so stuffed that I couldn't tell if it was worth it.

Then I met Zach at his house to go take a walk around the lake since it was so pretty out. He had to do a project identifying species anyways, so we did that on our outing too. We brought a blanket and drinks to sit and relax for a little. Then Zach took a 3 hour nap while I got ready. I DID NOT take three hours to get ready, there is just no waking him up. We hung out with Swanson, Karen and Daniel later.

Saturday I got a call from Fountain Park that we had a referral check to pick up since we 'referred' Zach and Daniel to live there. $200 baby! So...naturally Karen and I cashed it and went shopping....for 3 hours!! We both couldn't remember the last time we went shopping. It was a present to us before the hell of this week and getting ready for finals! We bought Zach and Daniel shirts because they were kinda the reason we got to go. =) Later Swanson Zach and I went out to eat at Mark Pi's. I had never been there before, but it was VERY good! Then we just went back to the boy's house and watched both Kill Bills. I, surprisingly, liked them very much. They were pretty good movies.

I have to get to bed soon. I have soooo much to do tomorrow it is not even funny! Thank you for all your prayers! The summer leased is signed, I may have an interview with the Goddard school in May, and Please pray that my finals go well!! Love you!!!

Good News

I made my schedule for next year! Looks great!
I know at least one person in all my classes! There are a lot of he same people that I have classes with now! YAY
No Thursday classes and no classes every other Tuesday!

Zach changed is major officially to anthropology! He is very excited. He is still going to minor in biology! He has no Friday classes!! I'm so jealous. Our classes are all completely opposite next year, but that's okay because....He and Daniel signed with Fountain Park!! YAYAY So no wasting gas to see each other!

Here is the best news. Sara and I met with two guys to take over our lease for the summer! And they were so nice and seemed very respectable! So we are very excited because we finished the whole ordeal yesterday! Starting May, we are free haha the Bad news, my last final is on Friday, May 2nd, and they are moving in May 3rd WHOA

But I am going to leave a lot of the big stuff here which will be a big help. As soon as they move out on August 10, I will move all my stuff to Fountain Park! =)

We had a surprise dinner for Katy yesterday that was really fun! Katy, Daniel, Karen, Ricky, Elee, and I had dinner at the cutest Italian Restaurant. The food was amazing. We are all so fun! We just laugh and laugh and laugh! That's why I love my friends! Katy turned 20 on Sunday! She is so beautiful!

Well, Since I am going to take it easy for one last day, I am going to watch America's Next Top Model and start packing some stuff now. Love you all

The Greatest College Week in the Country

Little 500 week was here!!

The weather was beautiful Monday through Thursday! It seemed like Everyone was outside playing corn hole, Frisbee, or tanning. I actually enjoyed walking to class...I don't remember liking to walk to class! It was gorgeous.

Tuesday was my birthday. Wednesday I had bought tickets to go to the Ying Yang Twins concert. I didn't end up going. =( I had a huge paper due Thursday and I needed to start studying for my test. I heard it was really fun though!
I guess the same night, DMX was supposed to be here at 7. He didn't show up until around 9:30 (when it was supposed to end) After barely 3 songs the police came and told him that they needed to end the concert because of noise violations and agreements with the fraternity. Well, obviously people were bummed out. I wasn't there but from the people that did go said that attendees were pissed that they payed $25 for nothing. I would be upset, too. I guess that they started chanting "f&*% the pol lice"....immature (yes)! The police maced everyone in the front row! Including someone in a wheelchair. Nice. They had to be rushed to a medical centers, but most of the ones close by were closed. Supposedly people were rushing the stage...I'm sure the man in the wheelchair was the first to start that. A friend of mine said that they called in backup like it was a crazy mob that were tipping over cars. I wasn't there, but after being out during the weekend I wouldn't put it past them.

I stayed in, like a loser, every single night until Friday night. Everyone was having so much fun and I was siting in my room studying. I had better get a flippin' A on that paper and m365 exam!

I made my schedule for the Fall on Thursday. I am taking three math classes and two ed classes. I think that this will work better BECAUSE...in the fall I am less distracted by everything. I come out of summer knowing I need to work. I have lots of motivation. By the Spring I feel like I have senioritis all over again. AND I only have one class every other Tuesday and no class Thursday! So I will have less to stress about.

Friday Dani got here. Dani and I were like inseparable back in the day and then got to work together in the summer at Kroger's bakery. She and her two friends came down from Ball State and stayed here. They were a lot of fun!!! I miss her like crazy so it was really good to hang out with her! Matt and Lauren, who both go to Butler, were also able to come down Friday. We hadn't met Lauren yet, and Matt and her had been together for over a year! It's about time. LOL. Zach and I went to dinner with them at this cute Greek Pizzeria.
Friday I also got to see Sarah!!! We worked together long ago at Baskin Robbins and fell in love haha. No seriously, we never got time to see each other all year, but we got to hang out Friday with everyone and had soo much fun! Unfortunately, Friday was freezing!

It stayed cold all the way through Friday night into Saturday. Good news! Barack Obama was at the woman's Little 500 race! That was pretty cool!
I woke up with a hardcore cold on Saturday morning. It has actually gotten worse. I missed class today so that I could sleep in because I felt so bad. It is getting better now though.

I had to wake up because I completely forgot to put Flat Stanley back in the mail!!!! But I did and expressed it so they said it would be there tomorrow morning.

This Little 500 was a lot of fun! I was really glad that Dani could come down and stay with me! I miss her a lot. We are trying to get before and after school jobs together in the summer! It would be so much fun!

Birthday Day

So...I'm 20!! How crazy is that?!?

I had class from 9:30-2:30. Zach picked me up from class and drove me home ♥
Love him.

He told me that he would pick me up for dinner at 6:30
He took me to dinner at a restaurant called Casablanca Cafe. It was Moroccan food. Different, but it was VERY good! We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. We had muscles and stew and a piaya (?) and we got some yummy disert to go.
When we were in the car Zach told me I could hold my present and try to guess what it is. I think that I guessed 100 different things. He took me to Griffy Lake and we walked to along the lake and I finally was allowed to open my red present!!!
I got the Post Secret Book that I really wanted and two Panic! at the Disco tee shirts! I love them!!

He told me we were going to watch a movie at his house so we left Griffy Lake there. When I went in the door I hear "Surprise!!" Swanson, Karen, Daniel, Parker, and Kasie. Zach planed a surprise party for me! He and Swanson decorated the whole house for me and had a cake and pinata and balloons! It was so sweet!!

I have the greatest friends! Zach grilled for everyone and was the best host!
I have the greatest boyfriend ever!!

Today I came home from class and got another surprise! I got some beautiful flowers in a pink margarita glass! Gorgeous! Thank you Mommy!

This weekend we kicked off the begining of little 500!! (The greatest college week in the country!!!)

It was eventful. We have great stories, but we ran so many errands that we are all worn out.

Thrusday we got our Dave Matthews and Tim Reynold's tickets. Friday Zach and Swanson had Karen Daniel and I over. We tried playing a game, but the boys got into talking about video games so Karen and I went upstairs to watch the episode of America's Next Top Model. We ended up falling asleep so Daniel took Karen home and Zach drove me back to mi casa.

Saturday was really fun. We finally got to see Parker and Kasie after what seemed like forever. They got a new gray kitten to play with their other kitten Tiger. They are both so sweet. Tiger is like Fieval, he likes to be held like a baby and makes little baby cries. So sweet.
We left and drove to Ivy's house. Swanson knows her through their fraternity and we hung out there for a little bit. It got a little sketchy so we didn't stay for more than an hour.

Sunday was the concert!! Casey came down!!! He is a hardcore Dave fan so we were in good company. They didn't let anyone start to form an official line until noon, so we got there around 1pm and were about 500 people in. We played cards and hung out with everyone until 5:30 when the gates opened. I am "a wittle lobster" as Zach has been saying. It was beautiful outside though.
Anna Thomas and Tom Mix were able to hang out with us while we waited so that was really nice. Ricky, Elee, Daniel, Karen, Zach, Casey, and I all hung out. It was really nice to wait with friends. It made the time go by fast enough. Jimmy Johns came and brought free lunch =) LOVE that!

When the gates opened, even being 500 people back, we were RUNNING for seats within 15 minutes. The line was over a mile long...and about 7-10 people wide! It was insane! 16,000 people attended in all!

The concert was definitly one to remember. I really want to get tickets to his concert this summer! It was a lot of fun! I have to memorize some songs though. LOVE IT.

Casey left around midnight. He is always a lot of fun! And if he reads this he NEEDS to come for little 5!!!

I took a quiz this morning and did pretty good! I am going to work really hard on my paper today and start studying for my test on Friday. My birthday is tomorrow! the big 2-0...so weird. Zach is taking me out and the rest is a surprise, I'm told.

Wednesday is the Ying Yang Twins concert! YAY! Love you all!

Today Bill Clinton is at IU. I can't go see him because I have a paper. I wanted to take Flat Stanley to see him, but he is studying and writing a paper with me instead. The Dave Matthews Band is going to be here on Sunday putting on a free concert in support of Barack Obama. We are going to try and get tickets tomorrow morning. I will take Flat Stanley to that, so Megan can say her Flat Stanley went and saw possibly the new President of the United States. I am going to Make new outfits for Flat Stanley, too. Including a Zac Efron T-shirt. It will be removable so Joe Jonas won't be covered up. haha

Well I am going to try and get to bed so I can get up early enough to stand in line for the free tickets. I love you mommy!!!!

Karen and I signed the Fountain Park Lease today!!!
We officially have a beautiful 2 bed 1 bath home for next year. We get to move in on August 16th. They are amazing.

They went through the lease paragraphy by paragraph and asked if we had any questions along the way. They were very patient and let us give preferences we wanted, advised us the best location for what we wanted, and just about Brownstone didn't do.

We are very relieved that we don't have to stress about it anymore. We are hoping to get a downstairs unit so that we won't have to kill ourselves trying to carry funiture up the stairs.

I am going to see a movie tonight (Ron Clark) for one of my Education classes.

It's been a while since I've been posting regularly. Sorry about that. School is starting to pick up again. Finals are not to far away and Little 5 is so soon!

In the television world
JabbaWockeeZ WON!!! I knew they would, but it was just exciting to watch them dance again! They announced that Americas Best Dance Crew will be back on this summer. I am very excited!

Music world
Swanson showed me this very cool website to listen to free music. I have been listening to it nonstop. www.Pandora.com It's free! You type in an artist you like and it plays music based on what you like. I have it as background music when I clean, blog, and do homework. I typed in Seal and they played a song that encompasses everything he does (kissed by a rose) then they play different songs that are similar to his genre. Sting, John Mayer, Maroon 5, Duran Duran, The Eagles...those are the ones who have played so far. Oh, Coldplay just started! It's very cool.

Mommy got Megan tickets to probably the hottest concert this summer!! The Jonas Brothers!!! AND she invited me!!!! AHH I am so excited!!! July 23 is going to be so awesome!!

For little 5 week, I think we decided to go and see the Ying Yang twins. It was up in the air between them and DMX and DJ AM. They are on the same night. I didn't care about seeing DMX as much as I was about DJ AM, but that's okay. I know some songs by the Ying Yang twins...they are sort of crazy, and their tickets are cheaper! ahah

Panic! at the Disco's Pretty Odd CD came out on Tuesday. I went to Target and it is already on sale =( People don't understand just how amazing they are. Oh, well. They are wonderful to me.

In other News
Sara and I are trying to find someone to take over our lease for the summer! If you know anyone at all, please please please let them know about me!
Sara's friend in Theta asked around about a place so we got really excited, but we haven't heard back from her yet. Then another guy posted that he was looking for a place close to campus and I wrote him, but I haven't heard back from him either.

I have been trying to think of ideas for Zach's 21st in the summer, but it is getting tricky.

This weekend was pretty low key. It rained the most perfect rain on Thursday night. Lightning, thunder, big fat raindrops. Karen, Daniel, Katy, Swanson, Zach and I stood outside and just took it in. Spring is here everyone! The long winter made it just that much worth it.

The weather here is CrazY!
Here is how the day has gone!

9am walking to class-beautiful! No clouds. Chilly, but still gorgeous!
10:45am walking to new class-still sunny. Just a few puffy white clouds, maybe more chilly
11am sitting in class- POURING RAIN!
12pm-snowing! Still sunny...just snowing
12:30pm-hailing? is that right?
2:15pm walking home-chilly with lots of wind. But good wind. Heavy wind (if that is an accurate description)

School is getting ready to come to an end (thankfully). Little 5 week is almost here! I am so excited that my birthday falls on that week! There will be so much to do!

Sorry this is so boring. I will keep you updated as much as possible though.

Well, The newest edition to the list would have to be decorating my Blog. Sorry for the switch up! I just throught this was way pretty! I will probably change it over and over again, but I really like this, so we'll see.

I have to work on a quiz that's due tomorrow though. =( Then Home =)

Also, Lost tonight.....Syid USED to be awesome...but now I am afraid that he just ruined everything! Also, "Someone (boom) will (boom) DIE (BOOM) all new lost" boooo. I knew instantly that it was going to be at least Carl, because they never show him. Another let down. If they would just stop announcing what is going to happen it would probably surprise me!

It's raining (understatement) again today. Zach's car "broke down" last night. When I asked how he got home he said, "I drove" .... okay. haha I guess that he thinks that there is no oil in the car because of a huge oil leak. Bad news bears!

Sorry there hasn't been a post in a couple of weeks! First and foremost!
Something new. I don't really like Oprah..but I have been watching Oprah's Big give and it has been really inspiring me to try and do something good everyday! Hopefully one of these days I will get time to do something big, but right now I am trying to change the world in little ways.

Well, I went home over Spring Break and relaxed. It was so nice. I got to see everyone, go out to eat with the family. I even saw the five new kittens!! So cute! They are still really small so they have some time yet, but they are so sweet.

I forget if I had said it or not, but I did get that phone interviewing job. I came back last Thursday to start. Friday I listening in so I would be able to start going it. Saturday I started calling on my own. Sunday I finished one of the studies. Not the most fun job in the world, but it is a job.

I am getting ready to leave for work here in a minute. I work all week until Friday when I get to go home for Easter!! I am trying to make Easter eggs this year with Karen, Katy, Daniel, Zach, Swanson, Sara and I, but I work until 9 every night so I don't think it is going to work anymore. =(

Well, nothing else is new. Lost has it's last episode before they have a break for I don't know how long. A couple weeks maybe. This week-LOST Next week-Grey's Anatomy ...PS does anyone really care if they finish the season. The writer's strike messed everything up. I probably won't even watch Grey's.
That a lie. I will. But I'm just saying. I am not dying for it to come back on.

Sorry It's been so long! Lots has happened and I've stayed busy!
Last post was Tuesday? Hmm..what have I done since then? Well, Last week is a blur.
Saturday I got an exciting letter in the mail. It was from IU. It was letting me know that I am on the honor roll here for getting a 3.5 =) I was so excited about that! I get to pick up a certificate at the end of the month =) YAY

I also got fed up with looking for a job and went to bug this company that I heard about through a friend. I turned in the application on Monday and about an hour later they called to set up an interview. After the interview on Wednesday, I went in for orientation on Thursday! :) I am going home for Spring Break on Saturday and come back to Bloomington on Thursday to start work!! =) YAY finally!

It's a great job, too! I'm going to be a phone interviewer for the night shift. We make our own hours. At least a three hour shift and a least 15 hours a week. So that is really good. That means that if I work 15 hours by Thursday, I can have Friday and Saturday off. =) But those are good work days so I won't do that haha

I think it will work out for the best.

What else? Did anyone see that Sampson already has a new job? He's working as an advisor for the San Antonio Spurs! That's cool! Maybe he will meet Eva Longoria! So jealous!

Other than that nothing new is really going on. OH! Zach's car got broken into the other night. Who ever did it was a creeper for real! They didn't break any windows or anything, but they did open the door somehow and trashed his car. They opened th glove box and threw all that stuff all over the place. They tried to rip out his satalite radio (which has never worked) and failed. They didn't take his CD player or cut his seats....They did get away with 2 dollar bills and a handfull of pennies...and his judo gea. I think that they just grabed his bag because it was a bag, but if they knew what was in it, what creepers. Who needs a thick karate uniform? Weirdos.

Swanson won $500 in a Eli Lilly contest....he though he was getting it for personall use...nope It was scholoarship money. Which is great! But he was planning on getting new clothes and other stuff. So it was a little funny when he found out.

Lost last night! Good episode...but! THIS COULD BE A POSSIBLE SPOILER so skip if you don't already think this (Bethy haha) I think Ben's spy on the boat is Michael from season 1 and 2.....I dont want him to come back though. But there is no one really else. Actually we know it's Michael. Best Senario: if it wasn't!

PS when the heck is Sawyer going to be part of the show again. We saw him for seriously 2 minutes last night. I was sooo mad! And who's good and bad. I don't know!!! But I like not knowing. Because we always find out later.

Also, If anyone watches the horror that has become MTV, I saw (2 weeks ago) this new show called America's Best Dance Crew....I was like, "Man another one of these...DUMB" BUT!!! BUT!! this one is so different. These groups make up their own dance moves and have "challenges" like "you must perform some of the moves in reverse" "on your back" "lift your partners" It is actually really really cool

Last night they did all (drum roll please!) Michael Jackson's Thriller album! LOVE IT!
There are 3 teams left after last night and they are all super awesome! There is a group from Indiana that break dance and dance on roller skates...sound stupid, but it is seriously so awesome!! Hold on while I get some Youtube clips!

PS...America's Next Top model premired last week (I know, settle down. I, too, think it's that exciting) ANYWAY, tyra banks is getting to be just plain annoying! BUT they moved the show to New York and replaced Twiggy (past supermodel) with a new supermodel who, I think, is already showing up Tyra...and I don't think that Tyra will stand for it for more than one season. It's entertaining to watch.

LOST is new tomorrow. Mark your books! I will, unfortunatly, be missing it again because I have a test and two quizzes to study for. =( Only about 2 more months of the semester!

Family Visit

In the living room. The family came to Bloomington to visit! I was soo excited! I love them!!
Funny picture!! Can't leave without one of those. Mom is the funniest! Jon, :sigh: yeah...
The sibilings got their Jenga on! Jon and I were not so good at it. It was Megan's first time playing and she was a natural! =)

They took me to lunch at Cheeseburger and Paradise! Yummy! I got the famous sweet potato chips and a jerk chicken wrap! It was so yummy. Then I started to take them on a car tour of campus...I probably should have done a test run before doing the real one. I went down third street twice...oops. AND I showed them everything to where the mall is, Kirkwood, 3rd street+, where I was going to live next year, the stadium...but I forgot about the Education School (where I spend the majority of class). "Oh yeah! Sorry. It's just a huge high-school-looking building with tall glass windows." haha

I wish they could have stayed longer. IU Sing was that weekend, so there was not as much stuff going on as usual, but I was really excited to see them and show everyone my home!

Well, I am going to try and get to bed earlier tonight!

Slip-and-slide

Bloomington had some crazy weather last night. The roads are pretty bad and the sidewalks are all ice. I was trying to figure out how I was going to get to class. The other night when I went to work out at the SRSC I didn't realize until the next day, but I hurt my knee pretty bad. I am not really sure what I did, but it feels like there is thick water under and around my knee cap. '=(

I started to make Zach a CD for his car last night. He has been listening to the same songs for months now and I was started to hate them haha. So, knowing that he hates any music I really do like, I went to http://www.rollingstone.com/news/coverstory/500songs

And the songs that I thought he might like I downloaded. Unfortunatly, I went through a different company other than iTunes and they hardly had anything. They didn't have the Beatles, Elvis, or Bob Dylan!!! WHAT! So I had improvise. He seems to like it a lot and I love songs that are old school.

I have finished cleaning the whole house. Sara's mom is coming down tonight to watch Sara preform her Theta's IU Sing. My family is coming Saturday. Get ready for Brownies!! =)

I watched LOST last night... I don't think that I liked it very much. One part was too violent, but then it just draged on. I am going to give them a break, but I hope it gets better.

HOT. Kate, by the way, needs to take it easy! I don't think I like her attitude! Sawyer goes, "you'll find some reason to get pissed at Jack and bounce right back to me" He got slaped, but that is SO what she does!!!!

I still havn't heard anything about CallNet and a second interview, so I am going to go with Daniel to work I think. I have never had such a hard time finding a job. ahhh!!!

I had my phone interview. I preped. I practiced. I researched. It was literally less than 2 minutes. =( I will get an email a few days from now to say what will happen.

I made an appointment for this friday to meet with Fountain Park about the home we want to rent.

I have to go to a meeting at 5 pm friday for GLBT project

I talked to Daniel, and I might try and get a job where he just got hired.
I need to put an ad in the newspaper for a sub lease. Its getting late!! If anyone wants to live at IU for the summer, tell them to call me!!

I have a midterm tomorrow. The week never stops!!

New Job?

As promised pictues from V-day last week. I didn't get a chance to bring my camera on the date, but I did get a picture of the dress that I had been dying to wear with my new shoes!!!
Face. I ran late so I had time for mascara and a messy bun. =(
As soon as I started to open go into my house from class I feel this gust of freeze! I look behind me and its, like, a full on blizzard!! It went from sunny and nothing to dark with huge snowflakes covering everything. This the view from my bed out the balcony window.

I got a promising e-mail today about a possible job. I am going to be having a phone interview tomorrow that will hopefully work for the best. Pray for me!!

IU beat Purdue at home!!! Awesome!! Next year I think I am most def. going to have to get season tickets! We are just way awesome. But at the same time both White and Gordon are going to the NBA, so we will have to play it by ear.

Everyone is still talking about Sampson and his calls blah blah. ESPN won't shut up about it AND they don't even know if he did anything for sure! I don't think they should fire him! Everyone loves him here! Oh, except the 4 they interview saying fire him.Nice.

He works really hard and our team is like a family! I love going to this school! I don't know how to describe how awesome it is to watch the games and..I don't know. I honestly doubt that any other school has the heart and spirit that IU does! That's why we are always so awesome!!!

Anyways. I finshed a paper, minus the proof reading, and all I have to do is study for a math quiz tomorrow and then I get to hopefully go to bed.

So it was a pretty boring weekend. So boring it wasn't even relaxing. I guess I shouldn't complain though.

Friday-Zach had me, Karen, Daniel, Parker, and Kasie over to hang out. I was too cold to do much of anything. While he cooked a little, I went out to get Taco Bell's 97 cent bean burrito (no onions...and no meat) And them we all went home.

Saturday-Kyle stoped by Zach's and Zach gave him the car tour before picking me up to walk around Kirkwood. Then we watched the Purdue Basketball game (Kyle is from Purdue...boo) When he left we went to Daniel's to watch the IU basketball game

Sunday-I didn't even try to do homework. Whenever I started to even think about it I get to stressed.

I still have to buy a book for a class, sign a lease at (hopefull its available) at Fountain Park, find a job, attend at least 15 hours worth of meetings for GLBT assignment and the list continues.

I did get a "we looked at your resume, but..." letter in the mail today. I applied for a hopeful job today. I would take called and answer questions about a part of the campus. I am going to call them tomorrow about my resume. I applied for La Dolce Vida as a server and CVS by my house.
Daniel just got hired as part of a survey team. I think I will look into that too.
there is a job on campus that I can apply for at the begining of March, but I would have to be here over Spring Break and I really need to go home and apply for a summer job.

There is good news!
Mi familia is coming down this Saturday!!!!
I can't wait! I am going to take them on a car tour now that I know more about this crazy town. I can't wait to show Megan, Jon, and Dave my house!
I forgot, Zach is going to a Judo tourniment to compete so they wont get to see his home. =(

I'm all finished with the week.

Tonight. I am taking a break. Kyle is coming to IU with some woman. I'm excited to meet her.

Today. I fined my first quiz: mostly good. I made a silly mistake that I of course realized as I was walking out the door.

Turned in my second quiz: no one can ever agree with the answers in statistics, we are just hoping we get partial credit for the word shown....

Took my test: 5 questions, 20pts each =( I think I actually did really really well. Minus the very last problem, but everyone was stuck on it.

Came home: avoided meat, watched Lost from yesterday! So intense. I have a theory!!!!!
I THINK: that all the flash-forwards are what would have happened if the Oceanic 6 DID get off the island, but I think they are the ones who get left behind....BECAUSE!!! Season finale of last season, we saw the first flash-forward of Jack after the submarine blew up (his only way off)

I know. Call me a genius! We'll see when it comes.

ALSO my theory....Desmond's vison said that after Charlie pushed the button and drowned Claire and her baby got on a helcopter and were rescued...IF that were true, then why wouldn't she be the first to be seen in the flash-forward? Think about it...

Valentine's Day came so fast this year! Zach wants me to pick him up from class tomorrow at 6 30 all dressed up and he wont tell me what we are doing. I have no idea considering tomorrow is Wednesday. I don't know what is in store.

I applied for 3 more jobs today after hearing back from the three others. I am ready to give up . I don't have any more muscles to tense up from stress.

I have a Valentine's Day project due Thursday, a test Friday (again) and a quiz due, and with my luck another quiz will be Friday in my other math class.

I talked to the leasing office about Subleasing for the summer and they didn't help much. They did say that we needed to have someone lined up before we could do anything else. =( more stress.

I am still pretty sick. This semester just makes me want to quit!!!!!!!

IPS Trip

I woke up at 4 am to go on the IPS field trip today!

It was a new experience. Lucky for me I was able to shadow a great girl. Her name was Michelle, a junior at George Washington Community School on the west side of Indianapolis.

I feel asleep on the way back home like just about everyone else.

The Trip was beautiful.

We left around 3pm and drove 3o minutes to get to McMee (?) and put on our gear to be on our way. Heading on a trial, Parker says about 10 minutes in, "Wait we need to see what direction we are going so we know where to go back" North-east. Good.

Seeing that it is more fun to wonder off the trials/for some reason the trial just disappears, we just start hiking along. Kasie, Parker, and Zach are all biology majors so literally every plant we walked past was identified. Kasie would take picures of the plants she liked. She ran up to Parker showing him what she found. The antler was so exciting!

Since then we all got excited about finding things in the woods. Zach found a medicine flask from the '80s, Parker found a shot gun shell.....I just found a fire that we made marks on our face with...and deer poop...lots of deer poop.

I didn't realize that Zach liked to hike...a lot! I wish I would have known that for a while. He had the biggest smile on his face all day. We both couldn't pass up the opportunity to act like LOST characters on the island. Zach said he was John Locke, the tracker. He and Parker were so silly. After finding the deer poop Parker hoovered his hand over it and said, "it's fresh." I laughed so hard!

Climbing walls of dirt and jumping into the streams. Oh yeah! We drank right out of the stream. "The temperature of the water doesn't allow bacteria to grow right now" I didn't really trust that so I only has a sip. We really wanted to build a fire on the shore of the lake so we followed the streams for a while. We found enormous turkey tracks...I was actually scared they were so big.

We walked past a huge tree that looked like it had been put together on purpose. It was very T.P -like. Finally! we saw water. We climbed another big wall and saw they if we went down we would have a flat surface to build the fire close enough to the water that it would be easy to put out.

3 1/2 hours after we left the car, we started laying rocks as a dry surface to build the fire. While the boys went and found big, dry firewood, Kasie and I started to build a small fire with twigs and dry grass. It took a little bit, but the fire was built without lighter fluid or charcoal. It was beautiful! We were so proud of ourselves.

Zach brought baked beans that we left in the can and just stuck the can in the fire and I brought baked potatos that we wraped in tin foil that we burried in the fire. It had just started getting dark when we built the fire, so it wasn't too much later when it was pitch black.

The stars were breath-taking. I almost forgot how gorgeous it was! We could hear a beaver gnawing of some wood close by. Some miles away across the lake we could see that someone else had made a fire. Zach still wanted to be John Locke, so we let him make a torch....which was awesome! My camera died before we got to a stream, but Kasie has the picture of it. Zach was like a little kid, giggling and skiping around with his torch...until about 3 minutes later pieces of the fabric fell off onto the ground. Torch=no good. But it did make so much light!

Around 7:30 we left to head back after bundling up. This time it was going to be tricky since we only followed a path for about 20 minutes at the begining. But thankfully Parker said right of the bat that we were hearding NE, so we needed to just head back SW. My sweet flashlight that I got for Christmas was the strongest =) YES. Parker brought glow sticks and some flashlights. And Parker had a compass.

It was a lot harder climbing the walls and streams in the dark. We stayed on track the whole time. We would take some breaks and talk about how we craved ice cream...ok I talked about that.

We were getting pretty tired, but we still had an hour and a half hike to go. Checking the compass frequently we stayed on as many animal trails and sometimes stumbled on marked trails only for them to disappear again. But SW was what we needed. "South-west is up that hill"

So we hiked up the hill. "its a gravel road" zach said. "YES!" yelled Kasie who was afraid animals would eat us.

We were excited that we would have no way of being lost, but a little sad that we couldn't get back to the car the same way we came. Before we could even finish our thought Zach shined a light onto Parker's car that was merely feet infront of us! YEAH!!!! We thought we are so awesome! Becuase we were of course =)

We drove back home after taking victory pictures. I can't wait to do it again!

I havn't taken pictures in a long time! Valentines Day is coming up and I have no idea what to do for Zach. Last year I made him a scavenger hunt.

Monday I have to get up at 4am to be on a bus at 6am to go to Indianapolis to shadow some kids around an IPS school...yay

So last night ended up being interesting!Zach came over to give me a break from studying and we went to Marsh to pick some food up to make dinner. Sara was still at class when we left at around 6 pm. We were at Marsh for about 45 min...a record, by the way, for Mr. Shop-a-lot.We came back home and Sara's purse and shoes were by the door. "Hey Sara!" I yelled up the stairs. ...No answer. Not thinking anything other than her possibly being in the shower Zach and I started to make dinner.After about an hour of cutting and stiring we went to watch TV. "How long does she normally take to get ready?" Zach asks. I just shrugged. For the whole time in the kitchen we could hear Sara walking around. I said Zach used my computer while I went to say hey to Sara really quick."hey girl!" ..."Sara"......."Sara?"..........."Zach!" i whispered as loud as I could.Sara's light was on. The bathroom light was on....the hallway closet was open. 1) we never open that closet. 2) sara always turns off her light when shes not home. and 3) this is just scary.Frozen, I stand in the hallway and silently text sara asking her where she was. She calls back and says that she left about an hour ago to Miami, Ohio. "Why?" I try to calmly tell her I think that there is someone in her room.I get off the phone with her alreayd having 9-1 dialed in my phone. Zach goes into Sara's room with scissors and checks her closet and under her bed, everywhere in the bathroom, my room...my balcony....nothing!"I'm not crazy right? I heard someone walking around, right?" I ask Zach. He looks in the closet and there is nothing. So i relax. "okay, welll thats good" Then, Zach, being the very calm person that he is, looks at me while giving me the "hush" signal. He brushes his hand on top of the shelf and crumby-dust is all of his hand. and Then he point up...to an attic"F*** that!" I call 9-1-1 and tell them I think a person was in my house hiding in the attic and tell them all about what we heard and thought. Three police officers came, not super speady by the way, and talked to Zach and I downstairs.They stand on a chair and lift one of them into the attic. I am downstairs only hearing thumping. "?????" Then I hear struggling......"??????" THEN I heard giggling..."!!!!" WHAT? "Tell us what you see Spidy!" "Shut up, man." "haha" "teehee" more thumping.They come downstairs trying to be serious and say that it might be the wind picking up the insallation and droping it down. There is nothing up there, they said, and they would be able to tell if there were because 'officer so-and-so cawled up there for you.They checked the rest of the house and it was fine. As the three of them leave we hear "let's go Spiderman" They were funny.I'm fine. Everything here is fine. The officer's left a mess, but at least we were "better safe then sorry"-911 respondant.On a lighter notes, we watched LOST on time as planned. Very good episode, Sawyer is not in it as much as I would have hoped, but it's getting good!I woke up with a sore throat so I hope that it is just from the cold weather, not sickness.I have to go to class for a test, I didn't realize what time it was!♥ ana

Lent started today!

Since the last post nothing too new has happend. I am trying desperatly to get a job. I don't reallly know what the deal is. It's never been this hard.

I have a paper due tomorrow, a test and quiz friday, paper due at 6 am on monday (IPS trip) a paper due tuesday for the same class due monday. =(

Karen and I are pretty sure about signing with Fountain Park.

I can't start my paper until my room is clean so that is what I am doing for the next few minutes

I hope that the weather is treating everyone okay. It's been weird around here. Really warm this morning and all of a sudden it started raining and it got so cold!
Zach's Grandma called him to make sure he was okay. I guess a tornado went through her neighborhoood and tore apart some houses. Not hers luckily!

Well I made it though all my tests and quizzes last week....now we do it all again this week. AH

After my panic-attack of classes on Friday I went home to an ice-coated car. I was supposed to meet Karen to look at more apartments. We met up later than planed, but we did go to a new complex called Fountain Park right across the street from Woodbridge (our favorite). We were settled on Woodbrige, but we thought that looking at one more place couldnt hurt.

It didn't. Although the appliances are older, the apartment is $100 less/month than what I pay now, AND they include water, trash, and sewer. However, they do not include a washer and dryer, but we can ask to be moved to the closest laundry matt in the complex. Every room in the house has over-head lighting that they said they will replace for you. Built-in shelving in the living room from the ceiling to the floor. Closets are huge. The bathroom have lots of drawers, and a big, shelved linen closet. The bedroom is smaller than what I have now, but my room is almost too big now. The kitchen comes with plenty of counter space and a dishwasher and fridge, and lots of cabinet space.

For $100 more/month you can have a washer and dryer in the homes, a breakfast bar, two batherooms, but there are no over-head lights in any rooms except the kitchen and bathrooms. The bedrooms are not any bigger and the closets are not in the right places. And every level you go up its $10 more/month.

We both really like the standard ones. We know AT&T work in that area so we will be able to get the discount, and they are right on the bus line into campus.

The weekend was kinda of a waste. I didn't do too much. Saturday Zach and I went to chocolate Fest at the convention center. While we did eat chocolate and find zach's new favorite grociery store, it was $15 and we were there for only an hour. It was nice to get out for a while though. We saw kids again!!! It's so sad that I get excited to see different ages.

Zach, Swanson, and I finally finished the third season and watched the premire for the fourth...which was so flipping confusing. I don't know if I like it. I don't like how Lock is the "bad" guy and how Kate and Sawyer ♥ are seperated into two groups. AND I HATE that Charlie really did die!

The Superbowl was..um....one of the best games ever! I know it's lame, but I seriously almost cried I was so happy that New York won! I was screaming and jumping around the whole game. It felt so good to see whats-his-face walk off the field so sad....stupid Brady.

Eli looked so happy when they won! And Peyton was so happy. And I was happy. And the rest of the world was happy! Cheaters never win! Now both Mannings won a superbowl back-to-back and they both won the VIP their first superbowl!

Interesting facts: a record was set for most viewed superbowl!
:since they made winning shirts, hats, and T-shirts for each team as the winner of the Superbowl...the ones with New England as the winners are being donated to charity.

Another week of crazy!

I ended up sleeping through my only class Tuesday. =( Lucky for me it wasn't a huge deal. I guess my alarm clock was going off for over 2 hours. =( oops

Bethy reminded me that there are only 9 days until the LOST premire. !!!!...!!!! YEAH! I am not even finished watching the second season! I got as far as Lock getting his legs crushed by the steel door.....AH. and i dont know how he does it, but Sawyer gets HOTTER every episode!

Along with THAT stress (jk..kind of) Karen and I went with Zach and Katy to the housing fair this afternoon. Just when we thought that things would be easier, we found 7 new places that are worth looking at after talking to literally 23 different companies.

We will do all that next weekend.

Though, tonight....we bowl. While most people are at the basketball game or watching it with friends, we are watching it while we bowl for 25 cents a game. =)

I am going home this weekend! I am very excited to get to see everyone again!

I have to clean my house. Sara is on a retreat all week and I hate being by myself in the house so I am having Karen Daniel Katy Swanson and Zach over for a while.

This is night time.

Today I had a huge rash break out on my face...out of no where! it just showed up.
Thinking it was my makeup I rushed home to take a shower while Zach was sweet enough to run to CVS to get me some Benadril.
The swelling all over my face and eyes went away...until about 3 hours ago.
Now it's back and ichy...I have no idea what it is.

I though it might be the soap I am using, but I always use the soap...so it cant be that.

I think our water may have been altered in some way.

These past few weeks have just been crazy!
Karen and I started looking at apartments with Katy as soon as we got back.
We found a place more affordable that we are in love with, but we have been hunting and making appointments to see other places like crazy.

Today after my THREE quizes (agh) We met Bes. The gorgeous place we saw in the brochure we saw was nothing like the real thing. I am really glad we saw one before we got our hopes up too high.
Bes showed us a "remodeled" three bedroom. As we were walking up the stairs we looked at each other like, "WTF is that smell?" (the closest thing I came to was the state fair petting zoo.)
Across the hallway of the room she was showing us was a 40+ year door that wa closed in the top corner, opened at the bottom...nice. There was a dog barking like, "Do you smell that? Get me outta here!"

When we finally get in the room there are scuffs on the walls. The kitchen looks like....someone got sick of designing it and told movers, "just put the 'fridge where you want" uh...where is the stove? I thought was a good question. She looks at me and finally says "have you never seen this before?" and literally puts a self handle and the stove comes out from the wall.....seriously.

After more tramatic findings we asked to see a two bedroom just in case. "I can ask these men who just moved in if they will mind me showing you their place." So we creek our way up the New-York-City_Slums stairway and hallway and the men open the door. Not only did they JUST move in...they were still in the process. Way to treat your tentets. It was so awkward that we just quickly wandered so we would get out of their way. After exhaling we apologized and went to another complex that was a...not a step up....what was it? Are curbs still up, but not a full step?

After hearing about that we had an idea of what it was all about.

We are still loving the first one we went to, but its almost not worth it if we cant get a third roomate.

We are going to the Housing Fair on wednesday so that should be helpful. We need to sign asap before we have to live in creeper-ville.

I am goint to met Zach and Swanson to watch the second season of Lost ♥
and then Zach and I are going out with Karen and Daniel. I am wearing the dress Zach got me so I will take lots of pictures!
